We are over the moon that both TSUNAMI GIRL by Julian Sedgwick and Chie Kutsuwada, and MAGGIE BLUE AND THE DARK WORLD by Anna Goodall, have been nominated for the prestigious Carnegie Medal 2022. The CILIP Carnegie Medal is awarded by children’s librarians for an outstanding book written in English for children and young people. To be nominated at the start of the process is a huge honour and testament to the amazing storytelling of both books.
